Suzanne Somers is a woman of many talents and achievements. She is a successful actress, businesswoman and an aspiring author. Recently she got caught up in a controversy with veteran actress Whoopi Goldberg. It happened on 20th day of February 2010. Whoopi Goldberg became furious and she reprimanded Suzanna Somers because she blamed famous actor Patrick Swayze’s death on his chemotherapy treatment.
Suzanne Somers told a Canadian reporter during her interview that Swayze could have extended his life if he had chosen alternative methods instead of opting for the option of chemotherapy treatments. Whoopi felt that this comment was insensitive and totally uncalled for because she claimed that Patrick did everything in his power to save himself from this disease and he wanted to stay healthy. So Suzanne Somers should know better before giving such wreck less statements.
Suzanne Somers has sincerely apologized for her callous and insensitive comment. She claims that she completely unaware that she was talking to a reporter otherwise she would not have said those things. She apologizes deeply if the comment has caused any pain to the grieving family. She sends her deepest condoles censes in this time of deep sorrow and pain.
She has also starred in television series Threes Company and she played the role of Chrissy Snow. In the November of the year 2009 she wrote a book and defines chemotherapy as poison. She strongly believes that cancer can be treated with other methods instead of using chemotherapy. In the year 2001 she had breast cancer and she used Radiation therapy as apposed to chemotherapy.
