Boise State finished its second straight unbeaten regular season. The Broncos have a high-powered offense led by QB Kellen Moore, who has thrown for 39 TDs and just three interceptions to lead the nation in passer efficiency. The Broncos also run for 194.5 yards per game. RBs Jeremy Avery and Doug Martin have combined to rush for 1,853 yards and 20 touchdowns. Boise State leads the nation in scoring offense at 44.2 points per game and has scored at least 40 points in 10 games this season.

These two met in the Poinsettia Bowl last year, a 17-16 win. Moore committed turnovers on the final BSU two possessions. The Broncos rushed for 28 yards on 20 carries in that game, and 20 of those yards came on one carry.
