#25 Marquette (16-6) @ Seton Hall (15-9)

If you can look past the top 25 ranking, Marquette is really not the better team in this situation. First you have a Seton Hall squad that is 10-3 at home playing a Marquette team that is sporting just a 3-4 record on the road. If you are more of a raw stats type of person, Seton Hall scores more points per game, shoots a higher free throw percentage, out-rebounds their opponents, has less turnovers per game, and gets more points off their bench than does Marquette. If this game was on a neutral court I would put the Seton Hall Pirates as small favorites. At home they should at least be favored! These teams have met this season, at Marquette about a month ago. Marquette came away with a 5 point victory. Considering that, it’s been estimated that home court advantage is worth a 6-8 point swing for the home team. How then is Seton Hall 3 point underdogs? I’m not buying it. I think the books want you on Marquette. It’s a team that is ranked and has good name recognition. My advice is to take the points and the home team in this situation.
